For beginners, a helpful embroidery basics booklet is included, it will guide you through processes such as how to set up your hoop, thread a needle and how to select and separate your thread ready to stitch each element of the pattern.

This kit contains full instructions and illustrated guides to cover all the stitches you can learn and perfect while stitching your hoop, these are:

- seed stitch
- split stitch

The kit contains enough of each thread for you to choose the colour of the text in centre of the heart.

The finished hoop measures 3" or approx. 8cm

Inside your kit, you will find all the high-quality materials needed to complete the finished embroidery hoop;

In addition to this, you will need some scissors. Should you wish to invest in some specialist embroidery scissors, I recommend the Janome stork scissors that are available to add to your kit. They are sharp and light and look cute too!

All kits come gift wrapped in tissue paper, although the colour may vary from the one shown in the picture. The packaging on this kit is fully compostable and can be placed in household recycling.
