Lay your thread across the top of the surface of the wax, cover it with your thumb and apply gentle pressure.
Use your other hand pull the whole length of the thread across the wax.
Repeat this action so the thread is lightly coated with wax.
Run the thread through your fingers a couple of time to smooth out the wax and remove any excess.
