Sometimes it is hard to find the right colour combination for your embroidery project. If you need a little inspiration take a look at my suggestions for colour palettes with a fun summer theme.

On each of my suggestions for summer embroidery colour schemes you will see the manufacturers colour numbers. 

When you buy embroidery thread you will find these number printed on the paper that wraps the bundles.


For each brand I am referring to their 6 stranded embroidery thread.


DMC: DMC thread

M: Madeira thread

A: Anchor thread
